The UAB Homecoming Parade is coming!

We're less than a week away from the start of our festivities and things are kicking into high gear!
One of our favorite traditions is the UAB Parade.

More than 100 UAB students, faculty members, alumni and supporters will be on hand to celebrate all that UAB does in our community.

As such, we'd like to give a heads up to our friends who might want to park on 14th St. on Friday, November 5. The entire street will be closed that morning for the parade line up. If you park in the Parking Deck on 14th St., you can still park there. However, there will be no metered parking until approximately 2pm that day.

And, we're excited to announce the 2010 UAB Homecoming Parade Grand Marshall is Miss Ashley Davis, UAB Student and current Miss Alabama! We are honored and excited to have Ashley return to UAB!

And, if you want a good view of the route - your best viewing will be on University Blvd. Here's a map of the entire event:
